Mercedes has commenced bookings of 2023 GLC in India, dealerships has started accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs 1.5 Lakh. The second gen GLC will be officially launch in India on 9 August and deliveries will begin in the last week of August. In the Indian market, the new GLC will be available in two variants: the GLC 300 petrol and the GLC 220d diesel. Both powertrain options will feature the Mercedes-Benz 4Matic off-road technology. The engines will have a 2.0-litre displacement and will be equipped with a 48V integrated starter motor, which provides an additional 23hp. The new GLC, which made its global debut a year ago, offers a larger size, increased luxury, and more advanced features compared to the outgoing model. Its interior design closely resembles the new C-Class, featuring two prominent screens—a 12.3-inch unit for the instrument cluster and an 11.9-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen for the infotainment system. The infotainment system will come with the new NT7 interface.
Prices and Rivals of Mercedes GLC in India –
Mercedes-Benz India is expected to begin deliveries of the new GLC by late August this year. The starting price for the GLC is anticipated to be around the Rs 75 lakh mark (ex-showroom).
