The 2024 Tata Harrier has been spotted testing in the outskirts of Pune, following the recent facelift of the Safari. The test mule of the Harrier is heavily camouflaged, concealing its design details, including the tailgate. Tata Motors introduced a mid-life update for the Harrier at AutoExpo 2023, which incorporated a new infotainment system and additional features. The facelifted Harrier is expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2024, although the carmaker has not officially confirmed the launch dates for both the Harrier and Safari facelifts. Spy shots of the Safari facelift have also been circulating as the automaker continues its testing.
Interior details of 2024 Harrier
The provided image offers a clear view of the Harrier’s dashboard. It reveals a new steering wheel design with an integrated screen, which is also expected to be featured in the new Safari and Nexon. The overall dashboard layout remains similar to its predecessor, with a possibility of a software update for the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Attention to detail can be observed in the revised center console, yellow stitching on the dashboard, a rotary dial for changing driving modes, a manual gearbox, an electric parking brake, and cup holders with a center armrest. The heavily wrapped dashboard may potentially house a heads-up display with ADAS sensors. In terms of features, the automatic variant of the upcoming Harrier may offer paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.
The front design of the Harrier is expected to undergo significant changes, including a redesigned grille, vertically stacked headlamps, and modifications to the air dam and front bumper. Leaked images have also revealed a fresh set of alloy wheels and an updated bonnet design. The 2024 Tata Harrier is anticipated to retain the same 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine, paired with both six-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
