Before its official launch, the upcoming 2024 BMW 5 Series has been sighted in India for the first time. The spy shots reveal a blue-colored sedan adorned with distinct design features such as the iconic kidney grille, sleek LED headlamps, black accents, silver alloy wheels, seamlessly integrated door handles, wraparound LED taillights, and silver detailing on the rear bumper.
In the interior, the upcoming BMW 5 Series will feature a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, along with a sizable 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster. Additionally, it will offer four-zone climate control and rear seats that can recline for added comfort.
When it comes to performance, the new-generation 5 Series is expected to be available with 2.0-liter petrol and diesel engines in the form of the 530i and 520d variants, respectively. Upon its launch, it will be in direct competition with the Audi A6 and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. BMW may also introduce an electric version, known as the i5, in India shortly after unveiling the new 5 Series.
