Following the commencement of bookings earlier this week, Mahindra has reported an overwhelming response to the XUV 3XO, with an astonishing 27,000 bookings received in the first 10 minutes alone. Within the hour, this figure skyrocketed to an impressive 50,000 bookings. Meanwhile, Mahindra has also disclosed its manufacturing capacity of 9,000 units per month, with over 10,000 units already produced as of May 15, 2024. Deliveries of the sub-four-metre SUV, priced from Rs. 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom), are scheduled to kick off on May 26.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO comes with a choice of two turbo-petrol engines and one diesel engine. The 1.2-litre petrol engines are available in two different power outputs: 109bhp/200Nm and 129bhp/230Nm of torque. On the other hand, the diesel engine generates 115bhp and 300Nm of peak torque. Depending on the variant, the SUV can be paired with either a six-speed manual, six-speed AMT, or an automatic torque converter unit for transmission.
