BMW has introduced the all-new fourth-generation X3 SUV, which is built on a new platform and features updated aesthetics both inside and out, along with an electric version which scheduled to reveal in global market soon. The dimensions of 2025 BMW X3 have been slightly increased compared to its predecessor, it measures 4,755mm in length, 1920mm wider and 1,660mm tall. Wheelbase is 2,865mm and ground clearance is 216mm.
BMW X3 Design Updates –
The X3 has lots of common design elements which we have seen in BMW’s new models like illuminated kidney grill like new gen 5 series LWB, sporty mirror designs like XM. Additional design highlights of the new BMW X3 include updated headlamps featuring L-shaped daytime running lights and standard 19-inch alloy wheels, with optional upgrades to 20- and 21-inch versions.
BMW X3 Interior Highlights –
Inside the 2025 BMW X3, the SUV showcases a very BMW’s new age design inspired dashboard design. Featuring a new layout, it has a floating BMW Curved Display comprising a 12.3-inch information display and a 14.9-inch control display. Notably, it incorporates a BMW Interaction Bar with a 3D effect for the light elements, which dynamically change color to correspond with various functions. The suv also offers an option of premium features like a self park function, adaptive air suspension, driving assistance (ADAS), premium service for the infotainment system which includes games, advanced navigation and more.
BMW X3 Powertrain Options –
The 2025 BMW X3 lineup offers a range of powerful engine options to suit different preferences and driving needs. The petrol one which is a 20 xDrive variant, it features a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with a mild-hybrid system, delivering 208hp and 330Nm of torque. On the diesel front, the 20d xDrive variant is equipped with a 2.0-litre diesel engine coupled with a mild-hybrid setup, producing 197hp and 400Nm of torque, allowing it to reach 100kph in 7.7 seconds.
Moving to the plug-in hybrid model, the X3 30e xDrive combines a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with an electric motor, resulting in a total output of 300hp and 450Nm of torque. This variant accelerates from 0 to 100kph in 6.2 seconds and has a top speed of 215kph. At the top of the range, the most powerful X3 features a 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder engine producing 398hp and 580Nm of torque. This enables the SUV to sprint from 0 to 100kph in just 4.6 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 250kph.
New BMW X3 India Launch ?
The fourth generation BMW X3 is likely to be launched in India in late 2024 or in 2025. After its launch, BMW X3 will compete with Mercedes Benz GLC, Audi Q5. We also expect the electric version of X3 in India after the launch ICE X3.
