- To offer 2 engine options
- features level 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats

Mahindra has officially revealed the Thar five-door, now named the Thar Roxx. The larger version of this popular SUV will be launched in India on 15 August. The new 5 door Thar features circular LED headlamps with LED fog lights, a front parking camera, a redesigned grille, and brand new alloy wheels. While the front looks similar to the three-door Thar, the excitement builds as you move to the side. The Thar rides on dual-tone alloys with clearly visible disc brakes. Although it has two extra doors, specific details are not yet released. The door handles are positioned on the C-pillar, and the taillights have been slightly redesigned with an LED setup.
Mahindar Thar Roxx Features –
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is anticipated to offer a long list of features compared to Thar 3 door like a panoramic sunroof, large infotainment screen, fully digital instrument cluster, dual zone climate control, level-2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, connected car tech and many more. Furthermore, Thar Roxx will boast all new age safety features like 6 airbags, ABS and EBD, traction control, ESP, hill hold control, ADAS, 360 degree parking camera, all four wheel disc brakes and many more.

Thar Roxx Engine Options and Rivals –
The Mahindra Thar 5 Door is expected to retain Mahindra’s 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine and the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. These engines will be paired with six-speed manual and automatic gearbox options. The Thar Roxx is set for its global debut on 15 August 2024. Once launched, this SUV will compete with the Force Gurkha Five-Door and other three-row SUVs such as the Tata Safari, Jeep Compass, MG Hector, Hyundai Alcazar, Kia Carens, and Mahindra XUV700.
