TATA introduces 3rd generation of SAFARI, which is siblings of Tata Harrier. Tata Safari made on jlR8 D8 platform, because it looks like a macho and muscular SUV. It is made on body on frame platform, so there is some bouncy ness while cruising high speed on expressway, but this is not a big point. Safari means a macho, muscular , heavy 4×4 monster, but in this 3rd generation it didn’t seems like a macho muscular vehicle, the main point is it didn’t get 4×4 configuration , which is the cherry on the top moment in Safari. We get a massive panoramic sunroof like Tata Harrier, a aircraft style parking brake is gone and we get new modern electric parking brake, now we get Tata IRA connected car features, digital instrument cluster, drive modes ( eco , sport ) , drivetrains modes ( mud , wet , rock ) , automatic wipers, automatic headlamps and lots of more.
In front, we gate proper 3 star treatment like Tata Nexon and Harrier style 18 inch Diamond cut alloy wheels, harrier style headlight console doesn’t change. On the d pillar we get Silver like finish to floating roof appearance.
In safety we get downhill assist, uphill assist, ABS, EBD , traction control, 6 airbags, height adjustable seatbelt, 8 ways electrically adjustable driver seat.
