BMW has opened bookings for the new-generation 5 Series in India ahead of its launch on 24 July. Notably, this marks the first time the BMW 5 Series will be available in a long-wheelbase version in the Indian market. Currently, customers can book the 530Li M Sport LWB variant.
They can choose from three exterior paint options: M Carbon Black Metallic, Phytonic Blue Metallic, and Mineral White Metallic. Additionally, there are wheel options, including 18-inch mono-tone and 19-inch dual-tone designs. Buyers can also select from Titanium Bronze and Aluminium Satinated finishes.

Inside, the new-generation 5 Series, features a curved dual-screen setup on the dashboard, comprising a 14.9-inch infotainment system and a 12.3-inch driver’s display. Additionally, it will offer a panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control, reclining rear seats, a Level 2 ADAS suite, USB Type-C charging ports, and electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats.
Under the hood, the car is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine may also be introduced later, possibly with a mild-hybrid system.
