BMW India Group has recently shared their H1-2024 sales report, showing a remarkable 21% increase in car sales. This growth includes both BMW and MINI cars. The company delivered a total of 7,098 vehicles to customers, with 6,734 being BMW cars and 364 being MINI cars. They also sold 3,614 motorcycles, highlighting the success of the BMW Motorrad group. Notably, the BMW X1 emerged as the most popular SUV, contributing 19% to the sales, while the BMW 3 Series secured the top spot among sedans with a 17% share. Additionally, the BMW X7 was the best-selling luxury full-size SUV. Looking ahead, the company is set to launch four new vehicles in India on 24th July, including the BMW 5 Series LWB, MINI Cooper S, MINI Countryman Electric, and the BMW CE 04 electric scooter.
BMW India Group EV Milestone –
BMW India Group has set a new benchmark by becoming the first luxury carmaker in the country to surpass the 2,000 EV sales milestone. The company has sold 397 fully electric BMW and MINI cars, the highest number among luxury electric automobile manufacturers. Leading the pack, the BMW i7 has emerged as the top-selling EV in H1-2024, while the BMW iX stands out as the most popular luxury EV in India, with over 1,000 units sold. Currently, BMW Group offers six electric vehicles in India: the BMW i7, BMW iX, BMW i5, BMW i4, BMW iX1, and the MINI SE.
