Honda City 2023 launched in India, price starts from 11.49L

Honda motors has launched updated 2023 City in India with price tag of 11.49L (Ex-showroom Delhi). This new model will have revised exterior with additional chrome plating and some more features. New City will be offered in four variants and six colours options. The sedan also comes with e:HEV trim which is a strong Hybrid version. Upfront we will see fresh grill with new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. A few other notable features include LED headlamps, LED tail lights, blacked-out B-pillars, fog lights, a shark-fin antenna, and front door-mounted ORVMs.

Inside the 23City we will see a set of new features such as Honda Sensing suite (ADAS), wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, an air purifier, a new interior theme, ambient lighting, and rain-sensing wipers. Also up for offer is an electric sunroof, a seven-inch coloured MID, and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The updated City is available in six colours including Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, and a new Obsidian Blue Pearl paintjob. The model is offered in four variants, including SV, V, VX, and ZX.

The new Honda City is available with two powertrain options. The first option is a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that is capable of producing 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a six-speed manual or a CVT unit. The second option is a hybrid powertrain that consists of a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a hybrid motor. The petrol engine generates 97bhp and 127Nm of torque, while the hybrid motor produces 107bhp and 253Nm of torque. The hybrid powertrain is only available with an e-CVT unit. Both powertrain options comply with the BS6 Phase 2 and RDE norms.
