Honda Elevate Global Debut scheduled tomorrow

After a long time, Honda is finally going to unveil its new suv in country. Company confirmed about this mid size suv back in January, this was followed by multiple spy shots of test mules. Launch of Elevate that is expected to take place around the festive season later this year. The exterior of the 2023 Honda Elevate will showcase a distinctive design, including a sleek single pod headlight design with integrated LED DRLs, fog lights, and a prominent chrome grille. The front bumper will feature a wide air dam, complemented by front door-mounted ORVMs and roof rails. The car will also come equipped with an electric sunroof, shark-fin antenna, and stylish black alloy wheels. At the rear, you can expect to find an integrated spoiler, wraparound two-piece LED tail lights, a tailgate-mounted number plate holder, rear wiper and washer, and reflectors integrated into the rear bumper.

The interior of the Elevate SUV is anticipated to offer a range of advanced features, such as a 360-degree camera system for enhanced visibility, a spacious touchscreen infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control for comfortable cabin temperature, cruise control for convenient highway driving, and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) for enhanced safety. Moving on to the engine options, the Elevate is expected to be powered by a choice of two engines. This includes a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a hybrid motor, providing a balance between performance and efficiency.

The transmission options are likely to include a five-speed manual unit for manual shifting, a continuously variable transmission (CVT) unit for smooth automatic gear changes, and an e-CVT unit for the hybrid variant, offering a seamless driving experience. Upon its release, the upcoming Honda Elevate is projected to be priced between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 17 lakh (ex-showroom). Once available, this model will compete against a range of popular vehicles including the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq in the market.
