Hyundai recently launched all new Creta in India with a N-Line variant also which will help this midsized suv to get a better position among its rivals. Well Hyundai Creta is always been a first choice of new suv buyer. Recently Hyundai Creta Electric version spotted testing in South Korea. It is expected to launch in India first because this new EV version is based on facelift.
Changes expected in Hyundai Creta EV
As we see the pictures, Creta EV have similar appearance with ICE powered Creta. The front bumper and tailgate seems to be remains unchanged. But we’re expecting some changes inside and out like front fender mounted charging port, front different grille, more cuts and creases on the exterior body which will help this vehicle to perform more aero efficient. And the most distinctive change here is the 17 inch aero designed alloy wheels which became typical these days.
Looking at the features and tech, Hyundai Creta EV will be equipped with dual-zone climate control, large infotainment system with EV-based UI, all-digital instrument cluster with new graphics, redesigned centre console, Level 2 ADAS suite, powered front-row seats with ventilation, and a 360-degree surround camera.
Right now automaker is silenced about its battery numbers but we expect it to be equipped with a 55-60 kWh battery unit which will likely to enough for 400-500KM. Right now Hyundai only have Ioniq 5 and Kona electric in its EV garage. After launch, Creta EV will be compete with MG ZS EV, Tata Harrier EV, Tata Curvv EV, Tata Nexon EV, Mahindra XUV400, and the upcoming Honda Elevate EV.
