Hyundai Inster, an all-electric micro-SUV, is set to debut at the Busan International Mobility Show on 27 June, 2024. Built on the Casper SUV platform, which has been popular in Korea since 2021, the Inster will be sold as the “Casper Electric” in its home market. The name “Inster” is a blend of “Intimate” and “Innovative,” reflecting the vehicle’s unique character. In India, the Inster might be introduced as an all-electric variant of the Exter, likely arriving next year. While Hyundai has not yet disclosed the Inster’s battery pack and specifications, it is expected to offer a WLTP-certified driving range of 340-370km on a single charge.
According to the teaser images, the Inster will incorporate Casper’s signature circular LED DRLs and headlamps, along with pixel-themed turn indicators and taillights. Additionally, it will include a front-fender-mounted charging port, similar to the one seen on the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV.
