The Jeep Compass Night Eagle Edition has been introduced by Jeep India at a starting price of Rs. 25.39 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition model features gloss black accents both inside and outside the vehicle and is exclusively available with a diesel engine option.
Sporting a striking all-black appearance, the Compass Night Eagle comes with black finishes for elements such as the front grille, roof rails, and door handles. Adding to its bold look are larger 18-inch alloy wheels, also finished in black. The Night Eagle Edition is offered in three color options – black, white, and red – each complemented by a contrasting black roof.
In terms of interior features, the cabin of the Jeep Compass Night Eagle Edition maintains the black theme but offers additional amenities. Jeep has included premium mats, a dash camera, entertainment screens for rear passengers, an air purifier, and ambient lights to enhance the overall experience for occupants.
Beneath the hood, there are no changes to the powertrain, and the Night Eagle Edition retains the same 2.0-litre diesel engine. This engine delivers a power output of 168bhp and a torque of 350Nm, and is available with a choice of either a six-speed manual gearbox or a nine-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
This special edition model competes directly with rivals such as the Kia Seltos X Line, Tata Harrier Dark, and the MG Hector Blackstorm in the market.
