Following the recent announcement of updates across its lineup, Kia is gearing up for further expansion with the introduction of two new models in the current financial year. Among these upcoming releases are the new-gen Kia Carnival and the highly anticipated Kia EV9 electric SUV.

While the Kia Carnival is expected to make its debut in the coming months, enthusiasts can also look forward to the arrival of the Kia EV9 shortly thereafter. With these additions, Kia continues to demonstrate its commitment to innovation and advancement in the automotive industry.

Automaker has initiated testing for both vehicles, with sightings of the EV9 occurring approximately two months ago. Positioned to become the brand’s flagship model in the Indian market, it is anticipated to be available in both 2WD and 4WD variants, offering an impressive range of around 400-500km on a single charge. While specific details regarding the India-spec EV9 are currently undisclosed, it is expected to initially debut as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), with a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) version likely to follow based on market demand.

Equipped with a range of advanced features including a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, dual digital screens, connected car technology, electrically adjustable second-row seats, a powered tailgate, and multi-zone climate control, the EV9 promises to offer a compelling blend of innovation and convenience to consumers.
