The Kia Seltos lineup has been expanded with the introduction of two new variants under the HTK+ trim, with prices starting from Rs. 15.4 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, customers interested in the facelifted Kia Seltos have the option to choose between the HTK+ variant with a petrol CVT and a diesel automatic gearbox combination. Additionally, the feature list of this variant has been enhanced, with the inclusion of features such as a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, paddle shifters, drive and traction control modes, and connected LED tail lamps.
Myung-sik Sohn, Chief Sales and Business Officer at Kia India, expressed enthusiasm about the latest launch, stating, “India’s affection for the Seltos is evident, and our goal is to continually enhance it for our discerning new-age customers.” He highlighted the enhancements made to the popular HTK+ variant in the refreshed 2024 Seltos, including the addition of top-end premium features like the dual-pane panoramic sunroof. Sohn acknowledged the significant demand for automatic transmission in the HTK+ variant, ranging from 20-35 percent, leading to the introduction of IVT and 6AT transmissions to amplify the Seltos’ overall appeal. He also emphasized the strategic optimization of other variants by integrating new premium features, aimed at aiding sales and further growing the segment..
