Mahindra halted bookings of Alturas G4 in India, the vehicle has been removed from its official website. In 2018 Mahindra launched this suv with a starting price of 30.67L (ex-showroom), Mahindra sold this suv via CKD route and it was a rebadged version of the SsangYong Rexton at the time. The vehicle had good off-road capability with AWD option as well. Mahindra loaded this suv with tons of new age tech and features. But still Mahindra Alturas G4 don’t had great position among its competitors. The vehicle had low price in its segment but still it don’t have good sales numbers.
In its 4 years of journey, Mahindra Alturas G4 was rival with Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster. Mahindra’s this suv was most expensive production in its entire lineup but now the XUV700 take this place. Well, Mahindra doesn’t made any statement regarding the new generation of Alturas G4 in India.
