Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the most awaiting thar competitor the jimny.
The all new Maruti Suzuki Jimny was showcased at the auto expo 2023 and will be launched in India later this year.
The Jimny is built on all the specifications which an off road machine requires such as a Ladder Frame Chassis, Ample Body Angles, 3-link rigid axle suspension and ALLGRIP PRO (4WD) with low range transfer gear (4L mode).
The jimny will be getting a a K15B petrol engine. This engine makes 104 hp power at 6,000 rpm and 135 Nm torque at 4,000 rpm. Transmission option includes a 5 speed manual and 4 speed automatic. Top variant gets AWD system with Low Range Transfer Case.
The jimny will be getting features and safety equipments like a 9 inch touchscreen infotainment systems with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, and automatic climate control. Safety will be via a total of 6 airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS and EBD.
Although we might see a big price difference between both the jimny will be more practical and value for money than the 5 door thar.
