Maruti Suzuki is set to introduce its inaugural battery electric vehicle known as the ‘eVX’ in India. Maruti Suzuki eVX all-electric SUV has garnered attention globally, making appearances at various events, including the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year. Following its showcase, the model has been spotted undergoing testing multiple times, with a recent spy image offering a glimpse into the interior of the forthcoming eVX SUV.
Maruti eVX Interior Details –
As depicted in the image, the Maruti Suzuki eVX will embrace typical electric vehicle characteristics, offering enhanced storage spaces and a more spacious cabin layout. Key features include a floating centre console with concealed storage compartments, a rotary knob for the drive selector, a central armrest, a standalone infotainment screen, a digital instrument panel, a redesigned D-cut steering wheel equipped with media controls, and seat upholstery in a combination of black and brown hues.
Maruti eVX Features and Tech –
Furthermore, the Maruti Suzuki eVX is anticipated to be equipped with a plethora of features to enhance convenience and comfort. These include dual-zone climate control, a wireless charger, an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror (IRVM), ventilated and powered front seats, a premium sound system, wireless smartphone connectivity, a 360-degree surround camera, a head-up display, and an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite.
Maruti eVX Range and Rivals –
In addition, as the launches of competitors such as the Hyundai Creta EV, Curvv EV, and Harrier EV approach, all promising driving ranges of over 500km per charge, we anticipate similar capabilities from the Maruti eVX. It is projected to be equipped with a 60kWh battery pack, providing a comparable driving range. The model is slated for launch sometime in 2025.
