Mercedes Benz Maybach GLS, business class suv
German car maker Mercedes Benz launched the Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC in India, this is the first time that suv comes with Maybach version.
Mercedes Benz has already sold over fifty units of the luxurious SUV that were allocated for 2021 even before the launch, in this Maybach GLS we get only one variant- 600 4MATIC.
In this variant we gets Mercedes Benz’s 4.0 litre M177 Twin Turbocharged V8+ 48V Mild Hybrid massive petrol engine that produces 550bhp of power with @6000Rpm and 730Nm of torque with @2500Rpm. This GLS is 2785 kg, but this beast engine pulls it 0 to 100 kmph in 4.5 seconds! .
The petrol engine gives us 8.5 claimed average fuel economy and at single fill-up it will goes upto 765 km, because it gets 90 litres of fuel capacity and also mated 9 speed torque converter. The 4MATIC system divides power delivery to all wheels, the length of the Maybach is almost 5.3 metres and width is 2030mm, height is 1883mm.
The wheelbase is massive 3135mm and ground clearance is 200mm which can be increased or decrease. At front we get chrome Maybach grill with parking camera and parking sensors above this grill we get Maybach logo
and Mercedes Benz star on hood, that grill gets 28 slat. Bumper gets chrome finish and also there is Mercedes Benz’s multibeam led headlamps
which can illuminate up to 650 m, this Maybach GLS gets 22 inch Maybach multi spokes alloys with chrome wheel bolt cover.
The orvm gets camera and puddle lamps which projects Maybach logo at night, the attention to detail is that retractable running board
which when we open the door the running board automatically comes out. At rear there are adaptive led tail lamps and led high mounted stop lamps, on C pillar we get Maybach logo.
Below the Mercedes Benz logo there is a retractable camera, rear bumper gets large chrome dual exhaust with chrome reflectors. The real game starts here, inside the car we get
dual tone interior with nappa leather in all the vehicle so that hard plastic things don’t exist here, even the roof also gets leather. Looking to its dashboard, like all Mercedes Benz cars maybach also gets 12.3 inch infotainment and 12.3 inch instrument
cluster which is divide in 50:50 format. That 12.3 inch MBUX gets radio, media, navigation, vehicle settings, driving modes (sports, comfort, Maybach, curve, off-road ), driving data, camera and many more.
Below this MBUX we get climate controls and four chrome AC vents, centre console gets two cup holders with wireless charging pad and some USB’s, to control that infotainment system we get touchpad
which we can control infotainment with touch of our finger. Below the centre armrest there are two usb. At rear there is never an issue with legroom, headroom, knee room, under thighs support because rear seats
gets executive package in this package we get electric adjust, cooling and heating function, electrically extendable leg rest, cushion bag, pre safe positioning function, wireless charging pad,
luxury head rest, removable MBUX rear tablet with 7-inch screen, massage function, memory seat function, refrigerator at centre console, usb c-type ports, dual cup holders, 43 degree reclining rear seats,
two 12.3 inch rear touchscreen infotainment system also. The list of features in this Maybach is massive like itself like, 590 watts 13 speakers Burmester surround
sound system, wireless charging pad at front and rear, heated and cooled cup holders, champagne holder at rear armrest, soft closing function at all four doors,

This suv comes with Mercedes me CONNECT which is connected car tech by Mercedes Benz, in this connect we get remote engine start stop, remote door lock and unlock, speed alerts, Alexa and Google Home integration, geo fencing, traffic information,
voice command, parking slot locater which locates parking slots in 2km radius. In this giant we get lots of safety features like, 8 airbags, ABS and EBD, brake assist, ESP, traction control, hill hold control, differential lock,
360 degree parking camera with parking sensors, TPMS, heads up display. Apart from this it gets Mercedes Benz emergency call system,

The fact is at the price of Maybach GLS we get two regular GLS because it’s price is 1.4Cr, we know that this is a lot of money but hey, Mercedes gives us a house on wheels.
