Mercedes-Benz India has unveiled a facelift for the EQB electric SUV, now available from Rs 70.90 lakh. This updated model brings fresh styling tweaks, enhanced features, and introduces a new 5-seat configuration. Mercedes EQB competes with BMW iX1, Volvo XC40 Recharge, deliveries are set to begin in January 2025. The EQB facelift showcases a redesigned grille panel adorned with Mercedes’ iconic star pattern, a design element also seen on their latest EVs like the recently launched EQA. Complementing these changes are subtly revised bumpers and new full-width LED tail lamps sporting a horizontal pattern.
Mercedes EQB Battery Pack –
Mercedes-Benz is offering the EQB facelift in two different versions. The EQB 250+ model comes equipped with a 70.5kWh battery and a single electric motor positioned at the front, generating 190hp and 385Nm of torque. On the other hand, the EQB 350 4Matic variant features a dual-motor setup for all-wheel drive, delivering a combined output of 292hp and 520Nm of torque. The EQB 350 4Matic can accelerate from 0 to 100kph in just 6.2 seconds. In terms of range, the smaller battery pack offers a WLTP-certified range of up to 447km, while the larger battery unit provides up to 535km on a single charge.
Mercedes EQB Interior Highlights –
Inside, new Mercedes EQB offers a refreshed dashboard design with star pattern design which resembles with its front grill design. The interior of the car is pretty much similar to its predecessor, but now the updated EQB features latest MBUX infotainment system software with tech like ADAS Level 2, 19 inch AMG alloy wheels, 360 degree parking camera, Burmester sound system and more.
