BMW India has recently introduced the M4 Competition, one of its most powerful models, in the Indian market. This high-performance coupe features BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system and the renowned S58 six-cylinder turbo engine. Available as a completely built-up (CBU) model, the BMW M4 Competition offers an exciting blend of power and performance.
Under the hood, the BMW M4 Competition equipped with a turbocharged 3.0-litre S58 in-line six-cylinder petrol engine from BMW’s M division. This high-revving engine delivers an impressive 530bhp and 650Nm of peak torque. The coupe can accelerate from 0 to 100 KMPH in just 3.5 seconds, thanks to the power being sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The car’s setup button, located on the center console, allows for easy access to engine, chassis, steering, and braking system settings. Drivers can choose from Efficient, Sport, and Sport Plus settings for engine characteristics, as well as Comfort, Sport, and Sport Plus modes for the electronically controlled dampers.
Priced at Rs 1.53 crore (ex-showroom), the 2024 BMW M4 Competition finds its closest competition with Porsche Cayman and 911, both in terms of pricing and performance.
