The upcoming model of Kia Carens was recently spotted undergoing testing in South Korea, covered in heavy camouflage. It is anticipated to make its debut in India in early 2025. Kia is currently developing a refreshed version of its entry-level MPV, the Carens. From the spy shots, it’s evident that the Carens facelift will feature a redesigned front end, including repositioned headlamps and updated LED daytime running lights (DRLs). The high end variants of Kia Carens Facelift will definitely equipped with all led headlamps and a sunroof.
While the side profile remains mostly obscured, it seems to retain the same overall shape as the current model. At the rear, notable changes include revised LED taillamps with an inverted L-shape design, a shark-fin antenna, and roof rails.

Regarding its features, the upcoming Kia Carens is anticipated to come equipped with an advanced Level 2 ADAS suite, a 360-degree parking camera, ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, twin displays for the infotainment and instrument panel, ambient lighting, a wireless charger, and an electric sunroof. These additions are expected to enhance the overall comfort and convenience of the vehicle.
In terms of powertrain options, it’s unlikely that Kia will make any significant changes to the current engine lineup. Upon its release, the Carens facelift will continue to compete with models such as the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Maruti Suzuki XL6, Mahindra Marazzo, and the Toyota Innova Crysta in the MPV segment.
