Mini India has started accepting pre-bookings for its upcoming new MINI Cooper S and MINI Countryman electric, both cars are scheduled to launch in India on July 24th. Interested customers can book their MINI car on company’s official website through online mode or by reaching MIN’s dealership.
Recently, carmaker has revealed fourth generation MINI Cooper S with new Countryman Electric in global market, and now MINI is all set to bring these cars in India. MINI Cooper SE is also in the pipeline and bound for its launch in India in coming months. The MINI Cooper SE will be similar to the ICE version in-terms of design and size of the car.

The updated Cooper S from Mini stays true to its iconic design cues, such as circular headlights and a larger octagonal front grille. The rear end is highlighted by distinctive triangular tail-lamps. Inside, the cabin maintains a retro-cool ambiance, featuring a standout 9.4-inch circular OLED infotainment screen developed with Samsung. Under the hood, Mini has equipped the new Cooper S with a familiar 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. This engine now delivers 204hp and 300Nm of torque, which represents an increase of 26hp and 20Nm compared to its predecessor.
Highlights – MINI Countryman Electric
The Countryman Electric, fitted with a 66.45kWh battery, boasts impressive claimed ranges of 462km for the single-motor version and 433km for the dual-motor version. Internationally, Mini offers two powertrain choices: a single-motor, front-wheel-drive variant that produces 204hp and 250Nm of torque, and a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive variant that delivers 313hp and 494Nm of torque. However, the exact configurations that will be available in India have yet to be confirmed.
