All new Mini Cooper S is all set to launch in India, recently Mini India has begun accepting bookings for the upcoming Cooper S. Customers can reserve the 2024 Mini Cooper S on the company’s official website with a token amount of Rs 1 lakh. While the outgoing model is priced at Rs 42.70 lakh (ex-showroom), the new version is expected to be slightly pricier.
2024 Mini Cooper S Powertrain –
The new Mini Cooper S retains the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine but in a higher state of tune, now delivering 204hp and 300Nm of torque, an increase of 26hp and 20Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, enabling the Cooper S to accelerate from 0–100kph in 6.6 seconds.
2024 Mini Cooper S Highlights –
Inside, the new Cooper S maintains its new age but classy design. However, the cherry on the cake moment here is that 9.45-inch round touchscreen infotainment system which is larger now. Its interior features a modern steering wheel with the new Mini emblem, and a redesigned dashboard that eliminates the traditional instrument cluster.
On the exterior, it retains the iconic round headlamps with a new LED DRL’s pattern and a front grille that is less curvy than before. Additionally, the hatchback runs on new diamond-cut alloy wheels and brand-new tail lamps design with arrowhead LED elements, connected by a black trim that displays the MINI Cooper name on it.
