Volkswagen Taigun facelift is expected to launch in India next year, VW T-Cross facelift was unveiled by the automaker in global market. T-Cross is a rebadged version of Taigun SUV which was launched in global market. Now, Volkswagen has launched a facelift version of T-Cross, which gives us a hint about upcoming updated VW Taigun. Yet Carmaker doesn’t made any official comment on the India launch of Taigun Facelift, but considering its rivals and their features, VW will unveil the refreshed Taigun soon. We’re expecting its launch later this year which will be held in Q1 of 2025.
Volkswagen T-Cross Facelift Exterior Updates-
While the exterior of the new T-Cross retains its familiar shape, there are noticeable updates such as revised taillamps and fresh alloy wheel designs. However, the most significant changes are found inside the cabin, where Volkswagen has introduced a completely redesigned dashboard, similar to what is seen in its other global models.
In Brazil, the interior comes in an all-black color scheme, but we anticipate the Indian market to continue with the black and beige theme, complemented by silver inserts. Another notable enhancement is the larger 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring a new operating system. Additionally, the seats have been redesigned, now featuring the ‘T-Cross’ logo embossed on the seat backs.
In India, the Volkswagen Taigun Facelift is expected to retain its 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine options. These engines come paired with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, while the 1.0-litre engine also offers a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission and the 1.5-litre engine offers a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission. The Taigun competes with popular SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, and the Honda Elevate.
