Nissan has provided a sneak peek of the updated X-Trail for the Indian market in a teaser video. The X-Trail, along with the Qashqai and Juke SUVs, showcases several key design elements. Nissan X-Trail is already selling in few countries, but now Nissan is gearing up the launch of its mid-sized suv in India. The X-Trail will be available in India via CBU route.
X-Trail Exterior Design –
Notably, it features, traditional split headlamps design, a refreshed grille with horizontal slats, inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, and a front camera. Additionally, the SUV will sport skid plates, two-piece taillights, door cladding, a rear wiper and washer, an integrated spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp, a shark-fin antenna, and dual-tone alloy wheels.
X-Trail Interior and Features –
Inside, the 2024 Nissan X-Trail will come equipped with several impressive features. It will have a dual tone premium leather upholstery, panoramic sunroof, multifunctional steering wheel, a floating large led touchscreen infotainment system, paddle shifters, fully digital instrument cluster, engine start-stop button, electronic parking brake and dual zone climate control.
Nissan X-Trail Powertain and Rivals in India –
Well, the suv is feature loaded and we are also expecting ADAS in X-Trial, as Nissan is offering this tech in X-Trail which is available global market. Powering the X-Trail will be a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with an electric motor, with transmission options likely limited to a CVT gearbox. Nissan is also offering 4WD version in X-Trail in some countries, but in India it’s not yet confirmed. Once launched, it will compete with models such as the Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Tiguan, Hyundai Tucson, BYD Atto 3, MG Cloud EV.
