Nissan India has officially announced the pricing for its new SUV, the X-Trail. Available in a single variant the Nissan X-Trail is priced at Rs. 49.92 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, it competes with the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Skoda Kodiaq, Hyundai Tucson, and Jeep Meridian in the full-size SUV segment.
Under the hood, the X-Trail features a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a CVT gearbox. This engine produces 161bhp and 300Nm of peak torque, enhanced by mild-hybrid technology for improved performance and fuel efficiency.
The all-new X-Trail is impressively equipped with modern features. Inside, you’ll find dual-zone climate control, a wireless charger, a panoramic sunroof, an 8-inch infotainment system, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. It also boasts conveniences like keyless entry, an electronic parking brake, multiple driving modes, cruise control, push-button start, and a 360-degree parking camera.
The three-row configuration offers a versatile second row that can be folded in a 40-20-40 ratio, with sliding and reclining functions. In terms of safety, the Nissan X-Trail includes 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, a 360-degree camera with parking sensors, hill hold assist, and a limited-slip differential lock.
