As per details from sources an updated version of the Skoda Superb is slated for launch on April 3, 2024. Notably, this variant will be derived from the previous-generation Superb, which was previously available in India, rather than the newer model unveiled late last year.
Information from sources suggests that the refreshed Skoda Superb will see a limited release of just 100 units this time, with plans for importation via the CBU route, in contrast to the previous version, which was assembled domestically in India. It is anticipated to come in a single, fully equipped L&K variant.
In terms of performance, the 2024 Skoda Superb will be equipped with the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 187bhp and 320Nm of torque. This powertrain will be paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100kmph in a claimed 7.7 seconds.
As for features, the Superb will come with the L&K package, which includes adaptive LED headlamps, LED fog lights with cornering function, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and 12-way electrically adjustable front seats with ventilation and massage functions. Additionally, it will offer Cognac upholstery, three-zone climate control, a virtual cockpit, nine airbags, TPMS, park assist with a 360-degree camera, an ADAS suite, and Electronic Differential Lock (EDS). However, it will not include a panoramic sunroof.
