Skoda has unveiled a second teaser image of its upcoming sub-four metre compact SUV, set to launch in India early next year. This image showcases a L shaped taillamp design, a wider rear bumper, and a virtual ORVM’s which is only available in the concept car. We have seen virtual mirrors in Audi’s new gen e-tron. Additionally, the teaser highlights the presence of roof rails and prominent Skoda lettering positioned at the center of the boot door.
Skoda New SUV Highlights –
Skoda India is preparing to launch another suv in the country under its 2.0 programme, this upcoming sub-four metre suv will be third product in India. This suv is expected to retain Skoda’s typical design language like a sharp shoulder lines, L shaped taillights, extended roof spoiler and Skoda lettering on the tailgate. Furthermore, this upcoming suv will be built on company’s MQBAO-IN platform and anticipated to retain Skoda’s famous 1.0-Litre TSI petrol motor which churns out 114bhp and 178Nm of torque, mated to a six speed manual transmission or six speed automatic gearbox. We had already seen this engine setup in brand’s Kushaq and Slavia.
Skoda’s Upcoming SUV Rival and Pricing –
Skoda’s new sub four metre SUV is anticipated to launch in India in Q1 of 2025 and rival with Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV3X0, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Nissan Magnite in the segment. Pricing of this suv will be surely on lower side than kushaq, we expect it to be between 9.0 lakhs and 14.5 lakhs.
