Tata Motors has officially teased the upcoming Altroz Racer, which is set to arrive in the Indian market by mid-June. Tata Altroz Racer Edition, a direct rival to the Hyundai i20 N Line, has already revealed most of its details, including its powertrain and features. Bookings for the model are expected to open soon.
Tata Altroz Racer Edition Engine Details –
The standout feature of the Tata Altroz Racer is its 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. This engine produces 118bhp and 170Nm of peak torque, matching the performance of the Hyundai i20 N Line’s 1.0-litre turbo engine.

The Tata Altroz Racer will be packed with an array of advanced features, including a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity, multiple drive modes, a digital instrument cluster, a wireless charger, automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, and an electrically adjustable sunroof.

Additionally, to distinguish itself from the standard Altroz, the Racer edition will sport a blacked-out hood, roof, ORVMs, pillars, and alloy wheels. The roof and hood will also feature twin white stripes, adding to its sporty appearance. Inside, the Altroz Racer will have a stylish black and red interior with white accents, giving it a unique and dynamic look.
