The Innova Crysta is an amazing car and has been a flawless commuter for Indians. But after its launch the Crysta hasn’t had any major updates and is still the same. The Innova Crysta lacks many features like 360-degree camera, Modern Infotainment system, Panoramic sunroof, etc.
The New Innova Hycross is going to be a game changer and is expected to come with all these features to compete with the other cars in the market. the Innova Hycross will get the 10-spoke alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, and horizontally oriented tail-lamps with LED brake lights. It is also expected to have features like the 360-degree camera, wireless charging and an ‘ottoman function’ for the captain’s chairs in the second row.
The car will also come with a new engine which will be a naturally aspirated petrol with a strong hybrid powertrain. Unlike the previous generations of Innova that used ladder on frame chassis and rear wheel drive set up, the new Innova Hycross will be based on a monocoque architecture and front-wheel-drive layout. This will improve the overall stability, safety and also will increase space for the rear occupants by having a flat floor.
The Toyota Innova Hycross will debut in India on November 25, 2022, with prices for the Innova Hycross set to be announced at the Auto Expo 2023.
