Tata Motors is anticipated to reveal the facelifted Nexon in India in September 2023, with the subsequent launch and price announcement likely to occur around October, coinciding with the festive season. Recent sightings of the model reveal partial camouflage, showcasing new features and design elements.
Design revealed in spy shots –
The upcoming facelifted Nexon, as revealed in the recent spy images, will introduce a refreshed front fascia with notable changes. These include a new grille with an integrated light bar, a split headlamp configuration featuring LED daytime running lights (DRLs) on either side of the grille, a newly designed vertically stacked headlight cluster, a fresh air intake, and a camera on the updated front bumper that contributes to a 360-degree setup.
At the rear, the sub-four meter SUV will showcase a revised bumper incorporating black inserts, updated LED tail lights, and a connected light bar on the boot lid. On the side profile, the Nexon will be adorned with new 16-inch alloy wheels, adding to the visual enhancements.
Engine and Power Information of Nexon Facelift –
In terms of its powertrain, the 2023 Nexon is expected to retain the existing 1.5-liter diesel engine. However, the 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine is likely to be replaced by a new powertrain that was showcased at the Auto Expo earlier this year. This indicates an effort to introduce updated and more efficient engine options in the upcoming model.
Interior changes of Nexon Facelift –
The upcoming Nexon facelift is anticipated to bring significant updates to its interior. The dashboard is set to be completely redesigned, accommodating a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, a new flat-bottom steering wheel equipped with a screen, purple upholstery, a revamped center console, and a fresh air conditioning panel. These changes are poised to provide a comprehensive overhaul to the cabin’s look and features.
