Volkswagen has introduced two fresh editions of the Taigun SUV in India, known as the GT Line and GT Plus Sport. The former is paired with a 1.0-liter TSI engine, while the latter comes with a 1.5-liter TSI petrol engine.
Exterior Changes in Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus Sport –
In terms of exterior enhancements, the new GT Plus Sport variant of the Taigun boasts a gloss black-finished front grille, darkened LED headlamps, a Carbon Steel Grey roof, sleek Casino Black 17-inch alloy wheels, vibrant red brake calipers, dark chrome door handles, black fender badges, a diffuser, trapezoidal wing, and prominent GT badging on the grille, front fenders, and tailgate. The new Taigun GT Plus Sport offers customization with seven exterior paint options, including Wild Cherry Red, Candy White, Lava Blue, Reflex Silver, Curucma Yellow, Rising Blue Metallic, and Carbon Steel Grey.Â
Interior Changes in Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus Sport –
Inside, this variant showcases dual-tone leatherette seat upholstery with Wild Cherry Red stitching, red ambient lighting, a black headliner, GT logo embroidered on the front seat backrests, a sport steering wheel accented with red stitching, aluminum pedals, and black-themed grab handles. The Taigun GT Plus Sport is powered by a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine paired with a six-speed manual and a DSG gearbox. This powertrain setup produces 148bhp and 250Nm of peak torque.
